Organizations are collections of individuals, ideally, working toward a common goal. When enterprises function well, all stakeholders benefit immensely; customers, suppliers, investors, and employees. Dan’s belief is: “Well-functioning businesses, and the communities they foster, are a key driver behind positive economic and social growth in Canada”.
With an energy that belies his grey hair, Dan’s passions are the people he serves, and he can often be heard shouting “C’mon, leadership would be boring if it wasn’t for the people!” Naturally optimistic, he encourages individuals and teams to be bold in their commitment to growth and change.
Peter Drucker once suggested, “culture eats strategy for breakfast.” To this, Dan counters, “when culture and strategy are aligned, there is no limit to what can be created.”
Having spent 21 years as an Owner/Partner in the search and recruitment space, and in leadership roles prior to that, Dan has experienced first-hand the power that great people can have on an organization when they are committed to a well thought-out strategy.
Dan leverages his skill set and experience when working with clients, focusing on cocreating and implementing strategy, leadership development, and CEO advisory.
Outside the office, you’ll find Dan on his mountain or road bike climbing hills with his wife of 21 years or exploring the mountains with “Mr. Wonderful” (his dog). He’s an outdoor enthusiast and avid traveller and is known to have hosted many a weekend client call from the top side of Whistler’s Harmony Chair. Dan, along with his wife and two kids, are grateful to reside in the outdoor playground that is the North Shore of Vancouver.
