Terrisa obtained her BCom at the Sauder School of Business, specializing in accounting. After graduating, she started her career at a Big 4 accounting firm in Vancouver where she worked as a Staff and Senior Accountant in external audit while simultaneously completing the CPA PEP program and the 2021 CFE. Terrisa had exposure to numerous different industries such as marine energy transportation, storage & production companies, investment banking firms, and bulk terminal operators to name a few. Through her work experience, Terrisa has been able to gain an analytical financial perspective as well as an ability to grasp complex business concepts.
Terrisa has held a passion for developing her leadership skills in various areas of her life; through her involvement in the basketball and volleyball community as a coach and captain, in the workplace, and as an older sister. She strives to embrace every member’s unique perspectives, experiences, and opinions and find alignment in order to reach a common goal. Having been raised in a multi-cultural household, Terrisa understands the importance of celebrating differences and finding strengths in the uncommon.
Outside of the professional world, Terrisa holds a strong love for creating music through songwriting/music production. When she’s not consumed by music, she also enjoys cooking, playing sports, and going for long walks with no destination in mind.
